Trainer Gary Moore will delay his decision on whether to enter Cheltenham Queen Mother hopeful Sire De Grugy in Saturday’s Rifles Handicap Chase until later in the week.
As we reported yesterday, Moore was set to work the nine-year-old this morning (Tuesday) before deciding but despite being reportedly pleased with the outing the trainer is delaying his decision.
Moore said “…I’m very satisfied. He has to school again on Thursday…Everything has to be okay” .
Sire De Grugy remains the fourth favourite for the Championship race on day two of the Cheltenham Festival, with the mighty Sprinter Sacre leading the way.
