The newest of the three racecourses in Wales, Ffos Las first opened for business in 2009 and stages both flat and National Hunt action throughout the year. The jumps campaign runs from October through to June, with a shorter flat season beginning in June and ending in September.
The Welsh Champion Hurdle takes place in October each year and is comfortably the biggest event of the season at the Carmarthenshire course.
