A dual flat and National Hunt venue, Leicester Racecourse resides in Oadby, around three miles outside Leicester city centre. A relatively short jumps season runs from November through to March, with the flat action taking over during the warmer months of the year.
The track’s major highlight comes in April with the annual edition of the Listed Class King Richard III Stakes – named in honour of the monarch whose remains were discovered buried beneath a Leicester car park.
