One of only a handful of courses in the northeast of England, the National Hunt track of Sedgefield sits in County Durham, around 14 miles from Durham city centre.
A relatively low-key venue, the course stages fixtures almost all year round, with the only blank months being those of June and July. The clear standout event on the fixture list comes in October as the track plays host to the stamina-sapping Durham National.
