One of three racecourses in Wales, Bangor-on-Dee sits just outside Wrexham in the northeast of the country, not far from the English border. A National Hunt-only venue, Bangor features on both the summer and winter jumps racing programmes, and as such, stages meetings right throughout the year.
Offering a truly rural race day experience, this rustic course is the only UK track which does not possess a grandstand.

Bangor-on-Dee offers a traditional National Hunt experience, with racegoers standing close to the action at one of Britain’s few courses without a grandstand. Its programme gathers pace during the second half of the year, moving from September business and twilight fixtures into family race days, quality mares’ contests and a lively sequence of pre-Christmas meetings.
North Wales Business Day (September)
Racing and networking share top billing at this popular early-autumn fixture. North Wales Business Day gives companies the opportunity to entertain clients or bring colleagues together, while a competitive afternoon of jump racing unfolds on the track.
